Mi formación ha sido básicamente autodidacta y desde siempre he estado en contacto con el mundo del diseño por mi ambiente familiar. Mi padre fue un arquitecto muy creativo y talentoso y mi madre también es artista. En un principio utilizaba el papel mache para mis muñecos, pero lo dejé cuando empecé a experimentar con la riqueza y posibilidades de expresión de los textiles para mis esculturas, usando principalmente medias de nylon, a las que doy forma rellenándolas y cosiéndolas para lograr los rasgos y dándoles el toque final con pintura y maquillaje.
I am basically a self-taught artist who has always been in touch with the aesthetic world because of my family background. My father was a very creative and talented architect and my mother is also an artist. In the beginning I used to make my sculptures with paper mache, but once I started experimenting with textiles and their amazing richness and expressive possibilities, I completely forgot about paper mache. I use mainly nylon stockings, stuffing and sewing them to create the desired contours and facial expressions. The final touches are achieved with paint and make up.
